Jews and the American Revolution

Question:
Would you recommend books that discuss the contribution of Jews (besides the famous Haym Salomon) to the Revolutionary War?

  1. As Jonathan Sarna has written in his magisterial American Judaism, "Much has been written concerning the Jewish contribution to the American Revolution" (31) and you can see the second chapter of his work, "The Revolution in American Judaism" for updated bibliography and analysis (31-61).
